Brief intro - Who are you and what do you do?
Hi, my name is Edith. I'm 33 years old. After the birth of my second child I gained a lot of weight. I weighed 251 lbs - Oh my God. I stood in front of the mirror and thought: Keep this up and you'll burst.
How did you come across intermittent fasting?
My mum's friend once told me about intermittent fasting. At first I thought, "Okay, this is not for me. But then I downloaded the app and read that many people are enthusiastic about it, live really well with it and have lost a lot of weight.
Which method do you use and how does it fit into your everyday life?
I use the 16:8 method, and always eat between 11-19. It works really well and I am proud of myself.
What changes do you notice?
After the first two months I have already lost 22 lbs and I’m feeling great. I am actually happy when my pants slide down all by itself.
How do you like Fastic?
Fastic helped me to start fasting in the first place, and to keep to my times. I always have an overview here. I never want to go back to where I started. I thank Fastic and am of course proud to be so ambitious.
If you go back to your beginnings, what has helped you most of all?
I started fasting on November 1st, 2019. It just went click in my head - if you don't have that moment, you are probably not ready yet. I just wanted to feel like a woman again.
What are your further goals?
My goal is to lose another 44 lbs. That is still a long way off, but I'm incredibly motivated and ready to reach that goal.
